Erminia "Momma Minnie" Medina
Our most precious, loving, caring, beautiful, admired, mother left us on May 15th, 2015 to wait on Jehovah God’s day of resurrection. She was born on July 1, 1938 in LaVilla, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Felipe and Ellena Garcia, brother, Domingo Garcia, and late husbands, Raymond Medina Sr., and John Clutter. She is survived by her longtime friend Chencho Reyna, her two beloved sisters, Regina Feliciano and Maria Solis, and greatest joys and the loves of her life, her eight children: Jane, Betty Ann, Belinda, Rita, Raymond, Frances, George, and Paul. Also her son in law Feliciano whom she considered her son. They were her heart and soul. Momma was surrounded by love from her cherished pet, Baby,17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mother had a love of jewelry, and a passion for gardening. Everything she touched with those loving hands bloomed beautifully. Along with vacationing and trying new restaurants, most of all momma loved being with her children and family. There was absolutely nothing she wouldn’t do for anyone who needed her. Momma taught us how to be strong, loving, and giving of ourselves. Most importantly, she taught us to remind each other how much we love and care for one another and to hug and kiss and be affectionate to those we care about. She was our comfort, our strength, our supporter, our everything. There will never be a greater love than hers.
