Elizabeth Hunter, 84, of Galveston Texas passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015. She was born November 16, 1930.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Alfred-Taylor (Robert) of Dallas and Joseph Hockless (Rhonda) of League City, Earnest Hunter Jr. (Elaine) of Galveston, Michael Hunter (Ruth) of La Marque, Deborah Hunter-Boudreaux of Kemah and Ronald Hunter (Christiana) of Pearland; her sisters, Betty Alfred and Geraldine Dorsey (David); sister-in-law Victoria Broussard, brother-in-law Thaddeus Hunter, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and her very best friends the "Golden Girls" Louise Provost and Eunice Cade.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28th at 1:00 p.m at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Galveston with a viewing from 11a.m to 1 p.m. Interment will be held Monday, March 30th at 2 p.m. at Houston National Cemetery. Procession will leave Carnes Funeral Home at 12 p.m. (Noon)
Elizabeth loved meeting people and talking. She never met a stranger.
