Elgie Lynn Doyle
Elgie Lynn Doyle was born in San Angelo, Texas on April 10, 1954. She passed away at the age of 60 on February 8, 2015. She is survived by her parents Elga Ray and Ada Smith, her husband of 43 years Don Doyle, her two daughters Chrystal and Amy Doyle, son Mike Bland, Brothers Mike, Bo and Casey Smith, Sister Detra Kay Clark, Grandson Colton Elliott and two Granddaughters Kiara Leone and Baylee Buckley.
Lynn spent her youth growing up in Woodson, Texas. Lynn and Don were high school sweethearts. They later married and moved to Granbury, Texas and become the parents of two daughters. Lynn went on to complete two degrees one in Computer Science and another in Accounting/Finance.
This was the first of many moves in Don and Lynn’s lives together. Lynn and Don eventually called San Leon, Texas home. Lynn was devoted to her church First Baptist of Seabrook, which included mission trips to Africa and providing help in many other areas.
Lynn was also a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend to all that knew her. Her hobbies included cooking/baking, camping, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Lynn loved to travel. She was always ready for the next adventure. Her and Don enjoyed many excursions together as they were the best of friends.
Lynn/ Mom we will miss you every single day for the rest of our lives .You were truly a wonderful, person, friends, mother, and wife. The world was honestly a better place with you in it. We will never forget you and the spirt of selflessness that you brought to us and all that had the privilege to know you. The best we can do is try our hardest every single day to make you proud and live by your example.
We invite to celebrate the life of Lynn Doyle at First Baptist Church of Seabrook 1506 Bayport Boulevard (Hwy 146), Seabrook, Texas 77586 on Saturday on February 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. to be followed by a potluck reception to be held at the church.
