Edward William Bell, Jr.
Edward William “Bill” Bell, Jr. passed away Wednesday morning October 10th, 2012. He was 69 years old.
Bill was born to Rosalee and Eddie Bell in Galveston, Texas on October 23rd, 1942. He grew up in Galveston until attending college, graduating from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration. He worked as an accountant at Monsanto and then Sterling Chemicals in Texas City for 32 years.
Bill married Andrea “Andy” Bisso on July 20th, 1969. They lived in Galveston for six-and-a-half years before moving to Dickinson where they raised their family. They moved to Clear Lake in 1994.
Bill is survived by wife Andy of 43 years; daughters Bonnibeth Bell Smith and husband Eddie, and their son, Wilder; Ann Bell Worley and husband, Todd and their children, Isaac and Gillian; and sister, Beth Bell Shelton.
Bill loved life and lived it to the fullest. He touched so many lives and will be missed by all who knew him. Bill’s shoes will never be filled. He was the greatest Daddy and Husband anyone could ever have—he was our Superman!
A Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Friday, October 12th at Carne’s Funeral Home - Texas City, 3100 Gulf Freeway Texas City, TX. Funeral Services will be at 11 am Saturday morning at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Dickinson on Highway 3.
