Delano Ludwig Rohden
Delano Ludwig Rohden, Sr. was born in Houston, Texas on November 24, 1936. He passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the age of seventy-nine in Cody, Wyoming.
Delano was born in Houston and raised in Texas City, Texas. He became a long shore man for the Port Authority of Houston. Delano retired after serving over thirty years with the United States Postal Service. Retirement didn’t slow him down. He moved to Mississippi and opened a country store with his late wife, Mary Richards Ayers Rhoden. Delano enjoyed living.
Delano is survived by his daughter, April Kellogg and her husband, Mike Kellogg of Cody, Wyoming; son, Eric Rohden of Texas City, Texas; son, Delano Rohden Jr of Houston, Texas; son, David Rohden of Seattle, Washington; step-son, Richard Ayers of La Porte, Texas, and step-son, Daryl Ayers of La Porte, Texas. He is loved by his granddaughters, Angela Rohden of Eugene, Oregon and Adrianna Rohden based out of Virginia. He will be missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
