Darrell Wayne Robinson
Darrell Wayne Robinson brought joy to the lives of his family when he was born to Betty Evans and Felton Robinson, Jr., on December 21, 1965 in Galveston, Texas.
Darrell was educated in the public schools of La Marque, Texas and was a 1984 graduate of La Marque High School. At an early age he united with Jerusalem Baptist Church in Galveston under Rev. A. S. Johnson. He was active in the youth department of the church. Darrell’s faith in God remained with him until he was called home.
Darrell had a strong work ethic and he gave valuable service as an employee with Solution Chemical Refinery in Chocolate Bayou for over twenty years as an Operator. He then began his career with Air Products as an Operator giving diligent service.
Darrell was a guy who loved life and most of all the loves of his family. He was proud to be a father to his beautiful daughter, Chasity. He enjoyed sampling music while making beats, his corvette and Camaro where his prize possessions. He was a jovial person was refreshing to anyone he came in contact with. He was a strong family man and you could always count on Darrell to be available when he was needed. Our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend completed his earthly journey to begin his new journey with the Lord on January 18, 2017.
Upon his heavenly arrival he was welcomed by his father, Felton Robinson, Jr., his beloved daughter, Chasity Robinson, grandparents, Felton Sr. and Earlene Robinson and Elvin Sr. and Laura Poole.
Darrell leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his loving memory, devoted mother, Betty Evans; sisters and brothers, Jackie Stoker, Stephanie Denise McCardell, Reggie Evans, George Evans and Russell Evans; nieces and nephews, Isis Davis, Layla Evans and Lacey Evans, Oscar Lee Stoker III, and Michael Stoker, Kim McCardell Jr., and Ty Evans; great-niece and nephew, Bailey and Levi Stoker; aunts and uncles, Wanda Pope (Willie), Lisa Poole, Laura Kennerson (Dennis), Lionel Poole (Sharon), Michael Poole, Elvin Poole, Jr,(Shelika), Wayne Poole, Erma Washington (George), Rose Brown, Elnora Brooks (Donald), Patricia Robinson (Albert) and Edward Robinson( Joyce); a host of cousins, dear friends, co-workers and classmates.
There will be a public visitation held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 begining at 12PM with the service beginning at 2PM. The burial will take place on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Hayes Grace Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas at 10AM.
