Cynthia Stufflebeam, 58, of Bacliff, TX, lost her battle with Lung Cancer on August 20, 2015. Cynthia was born on March 20, 1957 in New York, New York, to Leroy and Shirley Austin.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Shirley Austin, and first husband, Don Swafford; daughter Sandra Dee Swafford; and brother, Danny Austin; She is survived by her husband Michael Stufflebeam; son, John Swafford; and two grandchildren Aiden Swafford and Mackynzie Swafford; sister Juanita Austin and husband Darrell Gilbreath of Oregon.
Cynthia was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a homemaker first and foremost. Cynthia loved to sew and make things herself. She would put others first before herself which is evident in her body donation to medical science at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX. She loved to help others when in need and would give her shirt off her back. She will greatly be missed by all but her love for others will forever live on through her generous donation.
