Clifford Paul Vorwerk
Clifford Paul Vorwerk, beloved husband and father, passed away Tuesday at the age of 83 following a courageous battle with ALS.
Clifford was born in Richland, Texas to Lena (Arend) and Paul Vorwerk. He served during the Korean War as part of the 2nd Armored Division in Germany. He was later a Special Agent for the FBI in Chicago, followed by a 45 year career as a Certified Public Accountant.
Clifford was active in the church throughout his life as well as being very involved in the lives of his family. He thoroughly enjoyed physical fitness and following his favorite sports teams.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Moira, three sons; Douglas Andrew Paul Vorwerk and his wife Lori, Stuart Mark Clifford Vorwerk, and Kyle Malcolm Russell Vorwerk and his wife Carolyn. He is also survived by four beautiful granddaughters; Veronica Skye Vorwerk, Summer Dawn Vorwerk, Keira Rene Vorwerk and Claire Cait Vorwerk, sisters
Pearly Theiss and husband Walter, Arlene Petroski and her husband Frank.
The family wishes to thank; Dr Appel and his staff, Sherrie Cook and her staff, and Olubunmi Conyers for their excellent care and compassion these last two years.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 22, at Living Word Lutheran Church, 3700 South Mason Road, Katy, Texas 77450. A reception will precede the service at 1:00 p.m.

Spend some very quiet time with the Lord. Allow yourself the time with Him that you can actually feel His presence. Tell Him all of your fears, worries and concerns. Allow Him to bear your sorrows with you and bring you to that place of healing.
