On Monday, February 24, 2020, Cliff Shaw, 65, lost his battle with Alzheimer’s and went to be with his heavenly father.
Cliff was born on January 11, 1955 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Raymond and Betty Jo Shaw. He received his business degree from The University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.
On March 27, 1999, he married Angela Phillips. They were married for 20 years and lovingly raised two children, Matthew Parker - 18 and Maddie Grace-15 in their home in Tomball, Texas. Cliff loved the outdoors. He could always be found fishing, hiking, camping, skiing, golfing, but his favorite past time was cheering on his children in their activities.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angela, their two children that he absolutely adored: Matthew and Maddie. He is also survived by his father, Raymond Shaw, and his wife, Susan; his sister, Susan Davis, of Baton Rouge and three nieces: Jennifer and Steven Berniard of Baton Rouge, Kirby and Matt Deshotels of Houston, and Taylor and Wes Howell of Baton Rouge; and four great-nieces: Eliza, Sutton and Olivia Berniard and Davis Deshotels.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Shaw.
The memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Faithbridge Church at 18000 Stuebner Airline Road in Spring, Texas at 3:00 pm in the East Wing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made to Care Partners of Texas who provide respite care for caregivers.
