Christopher Gerard Calodich

Christopher Calodich

Christopher (Chris) Calodich of Webster, Texas was called home by his Heavenly Father on May 15th, 2015. Chris was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 20th, 1959 to Stephen and Loretta Calodich, who predeceased him. Chris was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and great-uncle.

Although Chris grew up in Long Island, New York, graduating from Newfield High School in 1977, he visited, fell in love with and adopted Texas as his home for all the decades after.

An avid sports fan since childhood, one filled with Little League and daily hoop shooting, he passed that love of sports on to his sons. He also greatly loved music, especially Praise and Worship Music and was known to play it while at work as well as blasting it in his car and singing along.

He is survived by his three loving sons, Jason Rosales, Christopher Rosales and Joshua Morris as well as sisters, Anne Calodich Fone and husband Larry Fone, Mary Calodich Beale and husband Mike Beale, Kathy Calodich Baggot and husband Mike Baggot; brothers, Stephen Calodich Jr., Joe Calodich and wife Shirley Calodich; niece, Katie Fone Bordelon and husband Darren Bordelon; nephews, Michael Beale Jr., Michael Baggot Jr., and Joseph Calodich Jr. and great-nephews,Caleb and Logan Bordelon.

Chris had a very strong faith and had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and his Savior over twenty years ago.  It was on God's love and strength that he leaned through many difficult situations.

"I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me."  Philippians 4:13 was a Scripture that sustained him.

Chris is remembered for his large and generous heart and great sense of humor, a Gentle Giant with a very sensitive and loving spirit who always stuck up for the underdog and gave to those in need.

"FUNNY, SWEET, LOVING, SENSITIVE and GIVING"

These words sum up Chris and the life that he led.  He was a special gift to us all and will be dearly missed and remembered with love.
