Cheryl Ann Payne
Cheryl Ann Payne, 59, passed away on November 16, 2019 at home. She was the wife of Richard John Payne. They met in San Diego, California, sharing 24 years of marriage together.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, Cheryl was the daughter of Robert and Beverly Lynch. She graduated Littleton High School in 1978 with a class of 120 students. There she played field hockey and was the high school’s mascot, the Littleton Tiger. She marched as a Color Guard in the 1976 Bicentennial Celebration Parade. For her Senior Prom she was elected as a part of the Queens Court. She went on to work for Sentry Insurance Co. in Concord, Massachusetts.
Cheryl enjoyed going to the beach, cooking for her family, reading novels, gardening plants and flowers in the front of her home and taking nature walks with her husband. She will be remembered for the love she put into the world, compassion she had for everyone and humor she graced everyday with.
She is survived by her husband Richard, her children Christopher, Courtney and Danielle. Her grandchildren Jayden and Scarlett. Her mother Beverly and her siblings Susan, Robert and Andrea
There will be a public visitation held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 12pm-3pm. There will be a second visitation held on Friday November 22, 2019 from 9am to 11am with a chapel to begin at 11am. Burial to follow at Galveston Memorial Gardens.
