Charles Scott Landram IV
On March 17, 2016, Charles (Charlie) Scott Landram IV, 56, cherished husband, father, brother and son, peacefully left this world and entered his heavenly home. Charlie was surrounded by family and friends in his beloved home state of Texas and where his heart belonged, in Galveston.
Charlie was born July 22, 1959 in Houston, Texas, the fourth child, and first son of Sally Wilson Landram and Charles Scott Landram III. Charlie met and married the love of his life, Lynda Marie Schultz on November 26, 1980 in Houston, TX. Together, Charlie and Lynda have two children, Joshua Dean (J.D.) Landram of Houston, TX and Ashlee Landram of Galveston, TX as well as granddaughter, Makenzie Landram.
Charlie was raised in Houston, TX with seven siblings. Charlie graduated from Memorial High School in 1978. He traveled many places and settled in St. Joseph, MO and Savannah, MO with his soulmate, Lynda, raising their children. Charlie worked for Sara Lee, Hillshire Farms and Tyson Foods for the last sixteen years.
Charlie is preceded in death by mother, Sally Landram; paternal grandparents, Charles Scott Landram II and Thelma Powers; maternal grandparents, George and Edna Wilson and aunt, Mary Elizabeth Landram.
Charlie is survived by beloved wife of thirty-five years, Lynda Marie Landram; son, Joshua Dean (J.D.) Landram; daughter, Ashlee Landram; granddaughter, Makenzie Landram; father, Charles Scott Landram III; brothers and sisters, Alisa Lawrence, Mary Fretz, Sarah Canalito, Susan Douglass, John Landram, Amy Widener and Bob Landram; in-laws, David Lawrence, John Fretz, Bo Canalito, Mike Douglass, Vanessa Landram, Deborah and Rick Weissbeck, Andrew Schultz and Kathy DeYoung as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services honoring his life will be held at Carnes Funeral Home – Texas City on March 23, 2016 with family and friends Visitation at 6:00 pm and Services at 7:00 pm.
