Celenia Fairchild, 81 went peacefully to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 26,2020. She was born on June 28, 1939 in Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico to Ricardo and Assenneth Garza. The Garza Family made their home in Galveston, Texas where Celenia grew up, met and married the love of her life, John Fairchild. They were blessed with three children, Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Celenia’s beautiful life was an example of her greatest treasure, her Family and her passion to “make people look beautiful!” While enjoying being around her family and traveling with her husband, she spent her life as a stylist. She loved being in the salon, surrounded by people who shared the same passion and catering to her clients, making them look beautiful.
Celenia was proceeded in death by her parents and her beloved sister, Alda Garza.
She is survived by her Husband, John Fairchild, Daughter and husband, Pamela and Roy Quintanilla, Son, Michael Fairchild, Daughter and husband, Stacy and James Gibbons, Grandchildren, Matthew Trevino (Virginia), Bryan Trevino, and Jaysen Trevino and great grandchildren, Melania and Connor. She is also survived by her sisters, Lubi Deaton (John) and Edna Humphreys (John), brothers, Richard Garza (Lynn) and Anthony Garza (Jill), Aunt Olga Marines of Monterrey, Mexico, many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
