Cecilia Ann Harmon
Cecilia Harmon (Ceci) of Santa Fe, Texas passed away on July 20th, 2015 at her home after a long battle of complications from diabetes at the age of forty-three years old. Cecilia was born to parents, J.C. and Tokey Kirl of Alvin, Texas on September 9th, 1971. She grew up the youngest of five children. She was a graduate of Alvin High School in 1990 and Houston Community College of Culinary Arts 1996. She met and married Stephen Harmon in 2000.
She is preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Tokey Kirl of Alvin, Texas; brothers, George and Wesley, both of Alvin; and both her paternal and maternal grandparents.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Stephen Harmon of Santa Fe, Texas; daughter, the light of her life, Emily Kirl of Texas City, Texas; sister, Vicki Williams of Alvin; brother, Tommy Kirl and Wife Sandra of Tyler, Texas; sister, Sandra G. Kirl of Alvin; uncle, Howard Norton and wife Julanne of Velonia Arkansas, and nieces and nephews, Bridgette Enloe, Andrew Kirl, Janna Barnwell and husband Scott, Lisa Grundy, Wade Kirl, Jayci Kirl, Kalyn and husband J.W. Lewis. She had many beloved great nieces and nephews. She also had many adopted children and grandchildren that fondly called her Nana Ceci or Ma.
Her pride and joy in life was her family, especially her daughter. She was the best mother and always made sure Emily had the best in life. From every birthday to Christmas, she always went above and beyond. She loved her husband deeply from the time they met and shared her life with him for fifteen years. She had many many friends that she turned into family. She would do anything for her friends even if she had to go without. Her passion in life was cooking, she loved to feed everyone. Many times all of Emily’s friends would come over just for “ma’s” cooking. She was the most kind and loving person anyone could ask for. She will be missed by all that met her. We love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.
Till we meet again.
