Carroll Henderson

Carroll Larkin Henderson passed away on February 8, 2021 at St. Dominic Village in Houston, Texas. He was 81 years old. He is survived his wife, Yoshiko Henderson, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage with. They had a son, Matthew Henderson, and grandson, Caiden Jones. He also leaves his beloved dog, Razor.

Carroll was born in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Son of Wayne Henderson and Virginia Carroll. Brother to John Henderson, Linda Hoffman, and Mary Cantleberry; All of Mansfield, Ohio. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Carroll served in the U.S. Navy. He fought in the Vietnam war from 1965-1967 on the warship the USS Collett, where he received the National Defense Service Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device, Good Conduct Award, the Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, and the Combat Action Ribbon. He was a lifetime member of the VFW in Alta Loma, Texas, post #5400. Once he was discharged, he became a truck driver and traveled around the country until he retired.
