Carolyn Epperson Martin Beezley
Carolyn Epperson Martin Beezley was born in Houston, Texas. Her parents were Mary Olivia Frisby Cattanach Epperson and Ernest Burns Epperson. She attended Spring Branch High School and the University of Houston. She lived many years in Florida before moving to Oklahoma City where she resided for over 30 years before returning to Houston in 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Beezley, her sister Mary Ann Brown, her brother Robert Cattanach, and her niece Cathleen Cattanach Thomasson. She is survived in death by her daughter Juli Martin, Juli's father, Harold Merle Martin, her brothers Michael Epperson and David Cattanach, her brother-in-law Ernie Brown, Sr. and numerous nieces and nephews including Stephanie Cattanach Weatherford, Kelly Cattanach Corrigan, Sharon Cattanach Miller, Scott Cattanach, Leslie Cattanach Tietz, Suzanne Cattanach, Ernie Brown, Jr., Belinda Brown Fritsch Cerreto, Mary Olivia Brown, Shannon Brown Arnold, Nathan Epperson, Sarah Epperson Sanford, Alex Fritsch, James Cerreto, Charlotte Weatherford, Bobby Weatherford, Mason Arnold, Hayden Arnold, Jack Corrigan, Mary Corrigan, and Lee Cattanach.
Carolyn was a singer and was very involved in the music ministry of several churches throughout her life. She also sang in Christian Rock bands in Oklahoma and Florida. She was Clay Aiken's number one fan and won a contest to sing with Clay at the Kansas State Fair in 2005. She sang with her daughter Juli in her church ministry over the years.
Carolyn had a huge heart and a great sense of humor. She is deeply loved by her friends and family and will be greatly missed.
