Beverly Cardin Anderson
Beverly “Betty” Cardin Anderson passed away on January 23, 2019, at the age of 71 at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City, Texas.
Betty was born October 25, 1947, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and worked as an LVN for 25 years specializing in Pediatric Home Care. She became a Christian as a teenager and maintained a love for her savior Jesus Christ throughout her life. Betty had a remarkable voice and loved to sing. She sang at multiple places in and around Santa Fe, Texas, even with Johnny Lee (before he became known).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Novela and Lynn Cardin; sister, Annette Cardin; brothers, Troy Lynn Cardin and Tom Cardin; son, Aaron Michael Argo and one granddaughter.
Betty is survived by her husband, Christopher Charles “Andy” Anderson; sisters, Pat Mitchell Davis, Linda Cardin Dozier, Terry Obright and Nancy Rardin; daughters, Sonja Argo and Rhonda Argo; sons, Michael Aaron Argo, Elijah Jason Argo; step-daughter, Christine B. Anderson; step-son, Ricky Higgins; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 6-7 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life Service from 7-8 pm. Visitors are invited to Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, Texas 77590.
Betty’s family is grateful for everyone’s prayers and suggests that wild flower seed packets be donated in her memory to the Garden Club in Texas City or La Marque for local distribution and beautification.
