Betty Lou Bell

Betty Bell

Betty Lou Bell of Bayview, Texas left this earth on January 25th, 2015 to be with the love of her life, Larry. Betty was born on February 8th, 1931 in Charleston, West Virginia to Clarence and Gladys Frashier. The eldest of three children, she is preceded in death by her sister, Carol Sullivan and brother-in-law, John Sullivan.

Betty Lou is survived by her brother, James Walker and sister-in-law, Donna Walker, her nine children; Rodney, Sandy, Frank, Davis, Debbie, Tommy, Jeff, Keith, and Curtis, fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren as well as quite a few nieces and nephews. Betty was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan for more than 40 years, with Roger Staubach being her all-time favorite player. She was definitely a dog lover; Betty spent her days loving on all of the doggies: Boudreaux, Duke, Leary, Honey and even sometimes her great-granddog, Rebel. Betty loved to be in the kitchen cooking, sweets were her specialty; like her cherry delight and suzie q's but she was most famous for her cakes. Back in the day everyone went to Betty when they needed a cake.

"Dear Mom"
 I just thought I'd say
 I love you and goodbye
 We will miss you dearly
 I promise I won't cry.
I will never forget our talks
 Conversations on the phone
How happy you were to see me
 When I finally came home.
You worried so much about me
 I worried about you too
I know this is the hardest thing
 We've ever had to do.
I know you'll always be with me
 Wherever I will go
No one needs to show me
 I will always know.
I don't know what to do Mom
I never thought I'd loose you
 Where I'll go from here
 I still haven't got a clue.
I hope you'll watch over me
 Be my guiding light
Giving me the strength I need
 To win this endless fight.
 You're my guardian angel Mom
 Sitting on my shoulder
 Whispering your words of wisdom
To use as I get older.
I don't want to say goodbye
 But we'll meet again someday
We'll pick up where we left off
 Before you went away.
