Barbara Ann Williams

Barbara Williams

Mrs. Barbara Ann Williams, 56, received her reward of eternal rest on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 with her husband, children, and devoted nieces and nephews by her side.

Evangelist Barbara began her race on March 29, 1964, in Galveston, Texas to the late, Charles and Mary Joiner. She attended Galveston Ball High School and graduated in 1982. She went on to become a nurse to special needs patients and instilled in her children the gift of acceptance of all people and to take a servant leadership role in everything they did.  At an early age, she devoted her life to Christ and became an Evangelist during early adulthood. She ministered the word of God to all. She loved the Lord and prayed for everyone up until her final moments. She was a faithful servant to the Lord and didn’t hesitate to be a cheerful giver. Her anointing was felt by anyone who was blessed to be in her presence. She was the spiritual rock for the family, her friends, and extended family. She was a devoted wife, a beloved mother and loving grandmother who will dearly be missed.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Charles Joiner Sr.; her brothers, Robert Joiner, and Emile Henry; her sister, Harrietta Moss, and her great-niece Jasmin Owens.

Barbara will forever be remembered by her husband, Curtis Williams and her seven children: Roderick Joiner (Melody); Dylan Olaoye (Bolade); Ashley Little (Charlton); David Williams (Brandy); Davnel Williams (Manifest); Curtis Williams Jr. (Lenora), and Christian Williams and godson, Jeremy Joiner. She will forever be cherished by her grand-children: Alexandria, Ashton, Axel, Chadon, David, Dayvon, Elijah, Mariah, Mary, and Zariah.

She will lovingly be remembered by her sisters: Rose Henry, Sandra Joiner, Stephanie Joiner, Sherry Henry; Barbara Williams, Shelly Williams, Ella Williams, Linda Williams, Shirley Williams, Rosie Williams, Toni Briggs and Evelyn Gulley; brothers: Michael Henry, Charles and Gregory Joiner and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.
