Barbara Ann Baumann
Barbara Ann Baumann, 68, of Pasadena, Texas, went to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, December 24, 2017. She was born on November 18, 1949 to Emil and Jewel Jaeger of Yorktown, Texas. Barbara was married for 20 years and raised her family in Deer Park, TX. She graduated from San Jacinto College in 1982 with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Barbara worked for 33 years as an RN focusing primarily on geriatrics, medical-surgical and psychiatrics. Barbara was someone who touched many lives and her memory will never be forgotten. She was someone who lived for the moment and would put the needs of others ahead of her own. She had an incredible since of humor and a generous personality.
When given the diagnosis of a terminal disease she never showed any fear, only faith, hope, forgiveness, and selflessness. She passed away at home in League City, Texas with her family at her bedside. She had three children: Paul Jr, born in 1968, Scott, born in 1969, and Misty, born in 1974.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Emil Jaeger and Jewel Jaeger; and her brother, Bobby Jaeger.
She is survived by children, Paul Baumann, Jr and Cathi Brockkman of Nordheim, TX; Scott and Rachel Baumann of League City, TX; Misty Baumann Lowe and Elise lowe of Willis, TX. She also leaves her grandchildren, Jason, Anthony, Zach, Susie, Breanna, Corbin, Haley, Riley, Theodore and greatgrandchild Kodey. She is also survived by her brothers James, Jerry, and Patrick Jaeger.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held at the Yorktown Fire Station (107 W Main st. Yorktown TX 78164).on Saturday February 24 from 10am to 4 pm. Flowers are appreciated
