Anna Victoria Floyd

Anna Floyd

Anna Victoria Floyd went to be with The Lord on November 13, 2014. She was 33 years young. Born in Houston, Texas on February 12, 1981, she has resided in Texas City, TX for the last 6 years. Anna loved Jesus with a depth that many will continue to be inspired by. She shone His light on everyone she knew, without reservation. Her infectious joy and beaming smile really did light up a room, especially a room full of kids. She was brilliant with kids-making up games and songs and running around the duck-duck-goose circle with them. She loved on each child as if they were her own. Anna knew every pregnant woman in her church and loved their babies before they were born. Her own children were some of her greatest treasures. She loved Marissa, Gunnar, and Ryan with everything in her. Anyone could see that Anna adored her children, and it was just as easy to see how much she adored her husband as well. She loved Scotty and truly enjoyed being called “his.”

Anna’s heart would cry for her children and, truly, everyone she met, was that they would come to know the Lord in a real and deep way. Anna was not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it was her delight to share Him and His love with others. It seems that many people, at the end of their lives, feel regret. But not Anna. She lived life so fully and loved so deeply that regret was unnecessary. She ran her race and finished with no regrets, and now she gets the prize: eternity with the Savior she loved.

She is survived by husband, Scotty Floyd, Jr. and their children Marissa, Gunnar, and Ryan; parents, Diana Fite, MD and Ron Patton, and seven siblings. She was a compassionate, selfless, and adoring mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend, who loved The Lord with all of her heart.

Join us as we joyfully remember our friend Anna. We ask that you please wear purple in celebration of Anna’s vibrant life and love of all things purple.
