Anna Louise Hobbs
Anna Louise Ransom Hobbs passed peacefully from this life on January 2, 2018, at the age of 94. She was born in
Galveston, TX on September 26, 1923. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed selling her crafts at local shows.
She was a wonderful cook and loved taking care of her family. She previously worked for Furniture Outlet in Dickinson, TX, was a member of K.O.P.S. in Santa Fe, and also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #5400. She was known for her smile and enjoyed a simple country life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Roy Ransom, husband Richard Hobbs Sr., brother Sonny Ransom, sister and brother–in-law Edna Mae and Bob Mathison, life long friend Wilma Zack, and her beloved grandson Kevin Hobbs.
She is survived by her son Richard Hobbs Jr. and wife Virginia, granddaughter Kimberly and husband Shane Taylor, great grandchildren Blake and Bailey Hobbs, and close friend Christine Riha.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 8th 2018 from 11:00AM till 1:00PM, with funeral services starting at 1:00PM at Carnes Funeral Home, Texas City, TX. Interment to follow at Galveston Memorial Park, Hitchcock, TX.
