Angel Luis Feliciano Sr.

Angel Feliciano Sr.

Angel Luis Feliciano, 67, of Hitchcock, Texas passed away and returned to our Maker on May 30, 2017 in Webster, Texas. Angel was born May 14, 1950, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico to Belisario Feliciano and Petra Figueroa. He grew up with his brothers, Jaime and Roberto Feliciano, but had many siblings. He is father of Edith Cruz, Angela Monk, Angel Feliciano Jr. and Grace Feliciano. He is grandfather to Josias, Maya, Elishah, Ezais, Aniah, Angel III, Javier, and JohnPierre. He comes from a very large and loving family, too numerous to name.

At the tender age of 14, he left his home of Puerto Rico and went to New York - the beginning of his lifelong adventure. He traveled to New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Philadelphia, California, Texas, Las Vegas, Canada, and Europe, to name a few. He believed in living life to its fullest and he did.

Angel worked at the Kirby vacuum cleaning company and the City of Cleveland Water Department where he learned to do plumbing and water lines. He loved to fix things. He would pick up things that were broken and take them apart and put them back together again. He loved working with his hands.

He was a total survivor. He would wheel and deal to make a buck and never would allow himself to be broke. He believed a man should always have some money in his pocket. He was a charmer. He would see a pretty lady and his favorite words were "ooh la la.” He had an awesome personality and sense of humor. There was never a dull moment. He made people laugh wherever he went. He was funny, wild, fun loving, hot-headed, and full of life. He was the most giving person. He would help people that had drug or alcohol problems and bring them home to get them straight, and he did it. He would literally give the last dollar in his pocket to anyone, whether he knew them or not, if they needed it. He touched so many lives throughout his lifetime and left an impression on everyone whose lives he touched.

The last six years has been a constant battle for him. He battled cancer of the kidney which left him with one kidney, then a stroke, a heart attack, and kidney failure. We watched God heal him of each affliction until it was time to take him…out of pain, out of depression, and out of despair. His battle is over. He leaves behind four children, eight grandchildren, and many many friends and family. Just as his name suggests, he was an Angel on Earth.

Goodbye for now Angelo, we will miss you.
