Amanda Cooper Spalding-Bullock
Amanda was born in Galveston, Texas on September 17, 1979 and passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bullock, her father, Charles Alan Spalding, and grandparents, William M. (Pete) and Evelyn M. Hardage.
She is survived by her son, Andrew R. Bullock; mother, Ann Hardage Davila and step-father, Roy Davila; sister, Amy Lynn Meyer; niece, Emily Ann Meyer; Godmother, Susan Dennard; uncles, Bill and Charles Hardage; cousins Summer Brown, Ashley Hardage Karasek, and Kelsey and Carly Hardage; and, special loved ones, Donnie Goar and Crystal Eck.
Amanda was a life-long resident of Texas City. She believed that her greatest blessing was the birth of her son, Andrew, for which she gave thanks to God every day. Her love for her family was unconditional. She adored her mother; relished time with her sister; and, delighted in her niece. Her affection toward her friends was unfiltered and unrestrained. Quite simply, she was beautiful.
Our hearts weep and we seek comfort in our faith. A faith that assures us that heaven has indeed gained a beautiful angel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 30th at 10:00 a.m until 11:30 a.m. Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Carnes Funeral Home 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, TX. Internment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park, Hitchcock, Texas.
